Reedsport announces top students

The Reedsport Junior/ Senior High School's Class of 2009 will graduate June 7, 2009.
Valedictorian
Camille Tisler is graduating with a cumulative GPA of 3.98.
She is the daughter of David and Valerie Tisler of Reedsport. Camille served as senior class president and as the Reedsport School Board representative. She also was vice president of Future Business Leaders of America and secretary of National Honor Society.
Camille was the Mrs. RHS coordinator/choreographer in 2009. She participated in varsity volleyball (2007-08) and varsity track (2006-09).
Camille will be attending Boise State University to study for a degree in history.
Salutatorian
Cody Savey is graduating with a cumulative GPA of 3.90. Cody is the son of Joe and Cathy Savey of Reedsport.
He served as student body president, as well as vice president of National Honor Society. Cody was a member of Future Business Leaders of American. He also participated in Mr. RHS and was crowned Mr. RHS 2009.
His participation in sports included 2007 golf state qualifier, and he competed in the Golf Sunset Conference in 2008 taking Second-Team All League.
Cody’s post graduation plans are to attend the University of Oregon in Eugene.
