Statewide Democratic candidates to stop on coast

While many Oregonians are focused on the presidential and U.S. Senate races, there are candidates from four other statewide races touring the state. They’ll be making stops to talk with voters Saturday on the South Coast.
That team includes Kate Brown, who’s running for secretary of state, and John Kroger, for Oregon attorney general. The candidates will talk at:
• North Bend: from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Coos Bay Democratic Headquarters, Pony Village Mall, 1611 Virginia Ave.
• Brookings: from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Event Center, 800 Chetco Ave.
