Richard “Dick” Chiesa, a financial services professional in Myrtle Point, recently received the Excellence Award from H.D. Vest Financial Services, a non-bank subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company. Vest is one of the largest firms offering financial services through independent tax and accounting professionals in the nation, a press release said.

H.D. Vest recognizes its top 75 most successful advisors each July with the award.

“These advisors have excelled in all areas of client service and are great role models for other advisors in our firm,” said H.D. Vest president Roger Ochs.

Chiesa has been an advisor with H.D. Vest since 1987. He has owned Coquille Valley Financial Management, a tax and financial services practice in Myrtle Point since 1976. Chiesa received his master’s degree from Portland State University, where he majored in accounting and financial administration.

Chiesa serves the needs of individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates and foundations by providing tax planning and preparation, traditional brokerage accounts and other services, a press release said.
