Tuesday, July 29, 2008 |
HILLSBORO (AP) — A Washington County jail inmate has died from an apparent suicide.
Sheriff’s Sgt. David Thompson says a deputy found the 47-year-old man unresponsive Monday and performed CPR to no avail. An autopsy will be performed, but Thompson says the inmate left a suicide note.
The man’s name has not been released because his relatives haven’t been notified. He had been jailed on charges of sex abuse, unlawful sexual penetration and using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct.
