The re-introduced event SandFest 2008 will ride onto the dunes July 8-13. SandFest, organized by the Northwest Offroad Timing Authority, will hit the sand on the North Spit starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Entire event entry passes are $35 for adults, $25 for children 11 to 17 years old, and free for children 10 and under. Day passes are $15 for adults, $5 for children 11 to 17 years old and free for children 10 and under.

Passes will be available at both event area gates located on the North Spit next to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.

The event will feature two vendor areas, freestyle aerialists The Bomb Squad, a Grand Prix and Moto-Cross races, a Side x Side drive-in movie and more.
