Meet this week’s dog and cat available for adoption at the Coos County Animal Shelter in The World’s feature, “Pets of the Week.”
A reference number is provided for each pet. This week’s pets are:
n Duncan is a 2-year-old neutered pit bull mix. He has been at the shelter since April and is patiently waiting for a new home. Duncan’s new owner not only will take home a new pet, but also a kit of dog care supplies. His reference number is 08-149.
n Jax is an 8-month-old male with medium-length fur. He is very sweet, curious and loves attention. Jax’s reference number is C-177.
The Coos County Animal Shelter is located at 600 Southport Road in Coos Bay. Shelter hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
