A new storm is headed for the South Coast, but forecasters say there’s still time to enjoy a day with sun. Here’s the forecast through the weekend.
South Central Oregon Coast
Includes the cities of Reedsport, Lakeside, North Bend, Coos Bay, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Powers and Bandon.
Today: Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the lower 50s to lower 60s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows around 40. Northwest winds around 5 mph shifting to the south in the late evening and overnight.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. A 50 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 50s to lower 60s. Breezy. South winds 15 to 25 mph.
Friday night: Rain in the evening, then slight chance of rain showers after midnight. Lows in the lower to mid 40s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph shifting to the northwest in the late evening and overnight. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid 50s to lower 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the east early in the afternoon, then shifting to the south late in the afternoon.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows around 40. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the northeast late in the evening, then shifting to the southeast after midnight.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. A 40 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. Highs in the lower to mid 50s. Breezy. South winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
